I made this. Both my husband and I loved it. I had to check measurement conversion charts for Fahrenheit and for ounces. Because I felt the conversion made my measurements inexact, I would say that this recipe is quite forgiving, as well as delicious. The next time I make it I think I will experiment with another layer of plums on the bottom.
I have now made this cake 3 times. I did use whole wheat flour the lst two times and added another layer of plums. My husband's face lights up when he sees this cake. So I gave it another star.
