- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 1/2 cups rye flour
- 1 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 cup flaxseed meal (ground)
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup vegetable oil (you can also use a very light tasting olive oil)
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pick your favorite: almonds, walnuts, cashews, etc.)
- 1 cup dried fruit (again, use your favorite: I used dried cherries, cranberries, and strawberries this time)
