- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 white onion (large)

- 2 stalks celery (diced small)
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/2 tsp. white pepper
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 4 cups skimmed milk (1% part-, scalded)
- 3 cups seafood stock (low sodium , or low sodium chicken stock)
- 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
- 2 Tbsp. fresh thyme leaves (chopped)

- 6 ears sweet corn (grilled, just turn it on a hot grill until the surface begins to char, then cut it off the cob with a sharp knife.)
