Very dry I think probably not enough butter. And the first 2 batches were burnt at 12 minutes when the recommendation was 20-25.

Beautiful cookies. Held their shape really well. Will definitely make these again!

Very easy to make and super tasty! However, they were much drier than I expected and it took a lot of jam to create a good balance. They bake closer to 15 minutes than 20, and burn easily if you do not make them thick enough. I also used a special linzer cookie cutter to get the center cutout and it made it very simple, and it would probably be much trickier to get the center hearts without a tiny cutter.
