The instructions say to use a blender to mix the lentils and raisins. If this is done, the whole thing is pulverised and does not look like the nice chunky burger the the picture. By the time the bread crumbs were added it was dry and very crumbly. The consistency was not desirable, but despite this, the flavour was still good (perhaps because of the seasoned breadcrumbs) which was what earned it the 3 stars. Next time I would not use a blender or food processor. Perhaps a light touch with a potato masher or just stirring in the raisins.? The mustard sauce was much more runny than the photo. There also were no instructions on how to caramelise the onion to come out like the photo. I took some of the mustard sauce and added a little barbecue sauce to it and then cooked the onions on in skillet so that the added sugars could caramelize with he onion. The onions were delicious.
