- 1/2 tsp. lemon zest
- juice (a small lemon)
- 1/2 tsp. garlic (minced or grated, use more if you like a lot of garlic flavor)
- 1/2 tsp. fresh rosemary (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
- kosher salt
- black pepper
- 3 Tbsp. water (to achieve desired creaminess of the spread)
- 12 oz. mushrooms (mixed blend of, sliced, I used cremini and shitake mushrooms)
- 1 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
- kosher salt
- black pepper
- 1 Tbsp. flat leaf parsley (chopped)
- crusty bread (Whole grain, or whatever bread you prefer, toasted.)
