Most of the lemon flavor came from the glaze. Need to try again with more lemon zest

Didn’t have plain yogurt on hand so I substituted with sour cream. Turned out great!

A really nice muffin. I was in a hurry so didn't brown the butter. Also not a huge fan of icing so left that off too.
The texture was perfect, flavor subtle, yumm.

Great, easy recipe, will definitely make again! Will add a BIT more lemon zest or swop out the vanilla essence for lemon as I personally like a strong lemon flavor..

Excellent muffin recipe. The texture of the muffins is wonderful and I like that they aren't super sweet tasting. Also got a thumbs up from my son who loved the glaze. Will make again.

I've made this recipe twice. The second time I added some milk along with the Greek yogurt and used lemon extract in the batter and icing. Delicious! It's now my daughter's favorite muffin.
