- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick soften)
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 15 oz. cream of coconut (real, divided)
- 16 oz. sour cream (2 cups)
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 1/2 cups grated coconut (freshly, or frozen coconut, divided, 3-6-ounce packages of frozen coconut)
- 2 1/2 cups lemon curd (See recipe for homemade lemon curd)
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar (sifted)
- lemon slices (Garnish: Fresh, optional)
- 4 egg yolks (lightly beaten)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lemon zest (about 3 lemons)
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
