I personally thought it was bland and too dry. I suggested adding a tad bit of water or a moist ingredient.

I dusted the cookies prior to baking not only with powdered sugar, but also with cornmeal. It made for a cookie that was a little less sweet with a little bit of texture. I think I will stick with this combo and make them again.

Left a weird taste in my mouth. Something is bland about this recipe

It’s delicious .We were running low on all purpose flour so I had to make do with whatever was handy 😊 I used 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour and 2/3 cup chestnut flour 1/3 cup whole wheat and the cookies were light And delicious

Used Crisco vegetable shortening and it turned out pretty nicely. Plenty of dough, which ended up making 29 small cookies. Nice alternative to butter, though. Cookies were soft and flavorful. I ended up using True Lemon seasoning in addition to the lemon juice, because it was difficult getting the zest.

I loved that they were not hard cookies when done. Had to cook them about 5 extra mins which really didn’t make a difference but was looking for the brown crust around the base of the cookie. Easy recipe and tasty.

I didn’t have lemon zest so I doubled the lemon juice. Could have had more lemon.

super amazing, it's like a lemon bar in a cookie!! i would have given it only 4 abd a half stars if I could have though. be sure to add extra lemon when you make them for a strong lemon flavor 💋

Very good I used coconut/cannabis oil. Made my own lemon zest . Very tasty and light . No cannabis flavor

Very good! Will be making again. I cut the sugar down a bit and added some honey (I didn’t want all the sugar) and it tasted great! Also I love lemon so I added more lemon juice and it was just the right amount (I recommend from a fresh lemon not from a bottle for the freshest flavor)

My first time baking cookies with your recipe. It taste super good because i add extra lemon zest and sugar. Even though it turned cookies turn brown . It still taste really good to me . I suggest that you should include your baking time and the right temperature because i think it be more easier for everyone . I recommend to try this recipe

the turned out well but the batter is more sticky than id like. it works well if you do 3 cups of flour instead of 2 1/2

Very nice biscuits. I used 5 fresh lemon rind grated and juice from 3 of those lemons. Which made a soft mixture which I then piped into buisciuts.

These are bland...and i added to the recipe. Don't waste your butter, sugar, and flour on this. I added a little lemonade and lemon extract because I didnt have lemons. However the texture is a real nice slight crispy and very soft inside...that's the only thing this recipe has going for it.

I used the recipe with the butter. I also added the lemon extract. They came out really good. Nice lemon flavor with a touch of sweet from the powdered sugar.

A really nice butter cookie, easy to make, but I had to add more lemon to get a good lemony taste.

They are ok, they have a very subtle lemon flavor and not sweet really. It’s a very bland cookie. We felt it tasted like a very dense pound cake.

Nice texture, but as other reviewers stated, they are not lemony enough. I added more zest, additional lemon juice as well as lemon extract, but the flavor didn't seem to pop as I would have liked.

My boyfriend and I loved these! I didn’t have lemon zest, so i just added a lot of extra lemon juice. They’re beautiful. Thanks for the recipe!
