  • 8 ounces linguine (or other pasta)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (or margarine melted)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons mccormick basil leaves
  • 3/4 teaspoon McCormick Garlic Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • lemon slices (to garnish)
  • fresh basil leaves (to garnish)
  • chicken cutlets (Sauteed, to serve, optional)

    Directions

    1. Cook pasta in unsalted water according to package directions. Drain pasta and return to pot.
    2. Combine melted butter, lemon juice, basil, garlic salt, and pepper in small bowl. Add to cooked pasta and toss gently.
    3. Spoon into serving dish and sprinkle with cheese. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh basil leaves. Serve immediately with sauteed chicken cutlets, if desired.
