- 4 large egg yolks
- 2 tsp. lemon zest
- 3/4 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed, from 5 or 6 lemons)
- 2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 9 orange slices (gumdrops)
- 24 candy eyes (jumbo)
- 1 cup flour (with, until required amount is obtained. Scooping measuring cup directly into flour bag will firmly pack flour resulting in too much flour required for recipe.)
