There were a few things about this recipe that seemed off, so I made some modifications. Rather than 2 ounces of rotini, which didn't seem like enough, I used 12 ounces. I also used a whole head of roasted garlic, and I doubled the lemon and olive oil. With these changes, the flavor was mild and appealing. The asparagus goes very will with the pasta and dressing. All in all, I think this was a solid side dish.
