I didn’t have peas or chicken stock on hand, SO I used chopped bell peppers in place of the peas (added when the onions were half cooked) and white wine in place of the chicken stock.
The recipe didn’t call for any spices other than salt and pepper, So I also added: 1/2tsp of ground sage, 1 tsp of oregano, and 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes.
This turned out really wonderfully and I am sure we will be making it again, soon!
