I modified the recipe using 1 c raw bean sprouts and 1c cooked chicken. I had frozen peas so I used 6 Oz of them and a diced raw carrot. I also added 2 chopped green onions. I used 2 c uncooked brown minute rice made in the InstantPot with 2 c water cooked for 5 minutes with a quick release. The rice was perfect. After chilling the rice I made everything on sauté in my InstantPot. It was good. Not great. Makes 2-3 dinner sized servings or 4 side servings.I used Chinese 5 spice which I made from my on hand ingredients. Not sure I will add it again. I did add two more Tbsp of sesame oil with the rice. Meal needs a little more flavor. Certainly not as greasy as the fried rice in Chinese restaurants. I was craving fried rice snd it met my needs. Certainly not difficult and I had all the ingredients on hand.
