Description
This recipe reminds me so much of home - Lebanon. It is one of those typical home-cooked Lebanese dishes that you wouldn't find in a Lebanese restaurant menu. It is so rich in flavor, so healthy, and can be cooked without meat for those who are Vegetarian. You can also substitute rice with quinoa. Sahtein!

- 3 cups frozen green peas
- 200 grams ground beef
- 1 onion (medium, minced)
- 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 2 large carrots (chopped in cubes or circles)
- 1 btl. tomato juice
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pinch salt (pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg)
- 1 cube chicken broth
- 1 juice (lemon -)
- 10 grams butter
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil

Directions
- Wash green peas in clean water, and set aside
- In a pot, add the butter, olive oil, and garlic and stir for 1 minute
- Add onions and a pinch of salt and stir until translucent for about 5 minutes
