- kosher salt
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 Tbsp. ground cumin
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 3/4 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 2 bay leaves
- 30 oz. chickpeas (rinsed, drained)
- 1/2 cup roasted red peppers (chopped drained, from a jar)
- fresh lemon juice (from half a lemon)
- flat leaf parsley (Coarsely chopped)

It was okay. It needed something to brighten it and make the flavors a bit more complex.
