- 0.5 kilograms lamb (Boneless low fat, in chunks)
- 2 onions (chopped)
- 3 garlic cloves (crushed)
- 1 green mango (cut into long thin slices)
- 8 dried figs (cut into chunks)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. ginger (grated)
- 1 can coconut milk
- 1/3 cup cilantro (diced)
- 3 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp. turmeric powder
- 1 tsp. cumin powder
- sea salt (to taste)
- 1 cup water

Directions
- in saucepan, saute onions in coconut oil, until soft. Add lamb, sea salt, cumin and turmeric powder. Stir until lamb turns brown.
- Add water and bring to boil. Cover and boil on medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Add coconut milk and cilantro. Boil for 15 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and boil another 10-15 minutes.
- Serve over rice.
- Note: you can substitue figs with 1/2 cup pineapple.
