- 1 lb. ground lamb (fresh, I also make these with ground beef or turkey,or mix both, use whatever you prefer and make sure it’s good quality fresh meat)
- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. pepper sauce (I use the hot kind)
- 1 onion (Large, coarsely chopped)
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley (fresh)
- 1 green chili pepper (sliced, cleaned from the seeds)
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt (add more later if needed)
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder (optional)
- 4 cups all-purpose flour (add more needed, the dough has to be soft but not sticky)
