The taste was great , just wish the recipe was more detailed. Like temperature setting and such.

The flavor is great but I will either increase the amount of cornstarch or decrease the amount of water. It seems 4 Tbsp of water is too much and it will not thicken properly.

Great recipe! I modified it by halving the amount of soy sauce and adding more spice (dried chilies and jalapenos). Also, I velveted the shrimp before cooking it. In other words, I combined the shrimp with 1 tsp egg white, 1/4 tsp cornstarch, 1/2 tsp rice wine vinegar, and 1/8 tsp salt. This technique is frequently used in Chinese restaurants to prevent the shrimp from shrinking during the cooking process and to impart a crunchy bite to the shrimp exterior. I would definitely make this dish again!
