turned out great. i didnt use the cucumbers instead i did a side of kim chi!!! whats a Korean beef bowl without kim chi... and i uses just jasmin rice. the kids loved it!!!! ive made this twice already

I think I mainly just really like gochujang sauce otherwise pretty basic and easy

This is very tasty. I used sriracha in place of the gochujang because that’s what I had. Added carrot ribbons and halved grape tomatoes. Gave it some extra pizzazz.

While I only gave this recipe 3 stars, I feel it may actually be closer to 3.5 stars. I was hoping to find gochujang in my local grocery store, but unfortunately I was stuck using sriracha (which I like, it's just not as true-to-the-recipe as I was aiming for). It was good, it's just that I wanted a bit more seasoning in the beef so that it could carry the rice and the more bland cucumber. With our leftovers, we added more soy sauce, grilled green beans and shaved raw carrots. My man also added some kimchi to his bowl and was quite pleased with the combination. I will make this again because it is so easy but will continue to increase the veg. Looking forward to trying it with gochujang as well.
