- 1 1/2 lb. beef (shortribs)
- 1/2 asian pear (or substitute pureed kiwi)
- 3 Tbsp. mirin (rice wine- can sub in rice vinegar)
- 2 tsp. sugar (can use stevia)
- 1 Tbsp. roasted sesame seeds
- 2 scallions (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic
- romaine lettuce (or Red Leaf)
- rice (pick up sticky japanese rice or use jasmine or basmati)
- bean paste (Optional: Spicy, my neighbor gave us some, not sure where to get it. We usually leave this out.)
