This is a great recipe to make with whatever kielbasa you like. I use beef smoked sausage. Sometimes I even throw a little cheese on top right before taking the skillet off the stove. This recipe is easy, delicious, and has become a regular meal that my family loves!

I agree with Lynne. Cook onions add garlic and then cook potatoes. This was good but was sort of bland to me. I made this with smoked sausage and added 1 large garlic clove and 1 small zucchini instead of 1 of the colored peppers. I think it needs some oregano, 1 teaspoon of dried or 1 teaspoon of Italian blended spices. I'll start with that and go from there.

I caramelized onions with garlic first, put aside and than cooked the potatoes. I did cut quarter size, takes longer to cook but not as much time to slice and chunky pieces. Also used chicken, apple, gouda sausage. It was very good!!! We have vegetarians in the family so we grilled the sausage and added the cut pieces on our plates so they could share the delicious mixture.

We used red potatoes, multi colored small sweet peppers and regular smoked sausage along with sweet vidalia onion. This was delicious and we will be having it often!.
