Great and easy recipe! However I do adjust it to give it more oomph! I use spicy sausage and add a can or two of dark beer instead of water and an extra can of diced tomatoes so it is thinner. I also add a lot of extra spices and green chiles. These additions help a lot!. You can add kidney beans if you like. Cook 4-6 hours in the crockpot. Serve with sour cream, cheese, jalapenos, scallions and cornbread! (I don’t care about the keto part)

With time constraints,
I had to use the instant pot. I recommend adding salt, paprika, and chipotle powder. Also, use beef stock instead of water. I’d you want more veggies in the mix, add another green pepper or use tomatoes diced with chilies.

Don't know if I've ever had sausage in chili before but this turned out great! Used up my diced tomatoes in another recipe so used salsa instead.

Pure deliciousness. I love me some chili, but usually all I add are beans, ground beef, and tomatoes. This recipe let me take my normal chili recipe to the next level and I will never go back. Yum!

Great! Had to double it for the carnivores in the family and cooked 20 minutes on high in the instant pot. Home run!

The best chili recipe ever. Seriously, my family never has liked a chili so much. Perfectly balanced and flavorful.

I believe it was my first time making chili and this recipe was excellent!!! There were so many different pleasant odors and excellent flavors coming out of the pot! It will be made, again.

We really liked it. I added some green dragon sauce ( jalapeno) to spice it up some.
