- 5 pieces fish (firm, Kingfish, Pomfret, Salmon)
- 3 cloves garlic (or 1 tsp garlic paste)
- 1 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 tsp. chilli powder
- 1/4 turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. coriander powder
- 1 tamarind (lemon sized, soaked in warm water for 15 minutes)
- 1 cup water
- 3 tsp. coconut oil
- salt (to taste)

Not enough liquid and some amounts aren’t clear. I tried it again with a can of chopped tomatoes instead of the tomato paste and it worked better. Still not sure how much turmeric or curry leaves to use. Also, the fish required no simmering to cook all the way through. Just turn off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes in the heated sauce and you won’t overcook it
