Even though this had a long cooking time, it was simple and the meat came out very tender. Unfortunately, I missed the part in the directions where you were supposed to remove the pork from the crockpot before shredding. I just poured most of the liquid out and shredded it in there. This way, it retained a lot of the salt and was a bit too much for us. I used a sweet barbecue sauce to counteract it. I made the leftovers into chili. Will pay stricter attention to the directions if I make it again!
