There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with this recipe, but I found the kale came out a bit tough. It doesn’t have a chance to break down enough while cooking. It could also use some extra flavor punch with the addition of some herbs and/or spices, other than salt and pepper. This recipe definitely needs seasoning! While it is fine, I will not make as is again, and won’t be adding it to my regular rotation.

Delicious recipe. Doesn't look very appealing while cooking, but tasted great. I used chick peas instead of beans as well. I just prefer the taste over beans. i also let it cook for about an hour just for flavors to mesh a little more.
