- 200 grams pork belly (skin and excess fat removed and sliced into 1cm pieces)
- 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
- white pepper (to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oyster sauce
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. cornflour
- shrimp (allow about 3-4 per person)
- fish balls (White, allow about 2-3 per person)
- 4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 chinese cabbage (small baby)
- 250 grams hokkien noodles (thick)
- 2 Tbsp. pork (flavoured oil, recipe below)
- 4 Tbsp. dark soy sauce (sounds like a lot, but this dish is suppose to be dark)
- 2 Tbsp. light soy sauce (adjust if the stock is salty or to your taste)
- 3/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 tsp. white sugar
- white pepper (to taste)
- 1 Tbsp. cornflour
- 2 Tbsp. cold water
