- 250 mL water (could be replaced by milk, or 50/50 water and milk)
- 350 grams bread flour
- 55 grams caster sugar
- 5 grams salt
- 56 grams egg (equals to 1 large egg)
- 7 grams milk powder (to increase fragrance, optional)
- 125 mL milk (/ ½cup)
- 120 grams tangzhong (use half of the tangzhong you make from above)
- 6 grams instant yeast
- 30 grams butter (cut into small pieces, softened at room temperature)
