We loved this. I’m not sure if the scotch bonnet was necessary but I’m definitely making it again.

turned out great although i didn't have any coconut milk...had to settle for skim milk

2017-01-27: used only 3/4 cup of coconut milk as that is all i had. Added water to add up to rest. Used only 2/3 cups of basmati rice. Nice texture and flavour
