I made this dish for tonight’s dinner. It came out pretty well but I felt as if something was missing...maybe I should have added more table salt. I did not have pimento berries so I used ground allspice. I also could not find any scotch bonnet peppers so I used scotch bonnet sauce which had the peppers inside the sauce. It was pretty easy to make. I doubled the recipe to ensure I had enough curry for my dish plus then some. I am putting this over rice and making a salad to help cool down the heat for my friends who are eating some as well. Lol. For a true Jamaican experience, I’m pairing this with grapefruit Ting!
