- 120 mL ice cold water
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 onion (Finely Chopped)
- 1 red pepper (bell pepper Finely Chopped)
- 3 spring onions (scallions Finely Chopped)
- 500 grams beef mince
- 1 tsp. garlic puree (2 cloves of garlic)
- 1 tsp. chilli (Puree 2 medium chillies, Jalepeno/Serrano or 1 hot chilli, Habanero/Scotch Bonnet)
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. Garam Masala (substitute with curry powder)
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. fresh thyme
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 190 mL stock (we used 1 beef stock cube)
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp. water
