- 4 cups corn (frozen or fresh, if using canned, be sure to drain)
- 2 cups ham (cooked and chopped)
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup cream (or whole milk)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (shredded, more to top)
- 1/2 tsp. salt (more to taste)

Yum! I did add some cayenne because we like it spicy, other than that I followed the recipe and it was so good. Husband says he doesn’t like chowder but he ate the whole bowl!

Excellent! I added chopped celery when the other veggies were sautéing. I added less corn (4 cups seemed too much), I think it could’ve used another jalapeño (I removed most of the seeds so it wasn’t too spicy for the kiddo). I let the soup cook for a few hours before adding the cream and cheese - the ham fell apart and the flavours were able to stew and enhance, I’m very glad I did that.
Edit: 2 jalapeños was too spicy for the kiddo.
