- 1 box shell pasta (medium, cooked 2 minutes less than package directions, and drained.)
- 1 cup Italian dressing (bottled, I used roasted red pepper Italian, plus additional if needed.)
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 green bell pepper (small, seeded and small diced)
- 1 red onion (small, peeled and small diced)
- 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
- 2 cups grape tomatoes (halved)
- 2 containers fresca (8 ounces each mozzarella, cherry size drained.)
- fresh basil leaves (chopped)
- 1 stock (large, pot, for cooking pasta)
