Very easy to make. Cookies are light. I substituted lemon extract for the almond due to allergies in the family. Gave the cookies a nice flavor.

Hi there and Happy Holidays. Some of my fondest memories are baking butter cookies and preparing for the holidays with my father. His recupe was one that couldnt be replicated. He passed two years ago and I had lost thé recipe. Guess what, it is the same as the Italian butter cookie recipe here and low and behold we even used the same cookie press you sow in your ad over 50 years ago. Thank you for the recipe. It brought more then a cookie to my home. Kelly

Made these twice and they are quick, easy and delicious. Will be storing this as my go-to sugar cookie recipe
