Excellent bread! And really easy to make. Note that I kneaded it by hand and that took way more than the recommended 10 minutes!

I have made 7 loafs of this bread to date. It is the easiest, lightest, and best tasting bread I have ever made.

I LOVE this recipe. it's so easy to make (though it does take some time) and makes really fluffy, delicious bread

I have made this bread several times since finding this recipe, use my kitchen aide mixer and all purpose flour and it comes out beautifully every time,

Used red star yeast and bread flour it came out great especially exciting because it was my first attempt at bread. The recipe is clear, exact, and easy to follow even telling you to use a serrated knife rather than smooth. Gonna try it with all purpose flour next time just to experiment.

Perfect for Beginners
Very soft italian bread also very easy to make.
I started adding herbs like fresh oregano, thyme, and basil and making sub size buns out if this recipe and it works great for that.

I've never had success with breads. This recipe was very easy to follow and the result was amazing. The whole house smells delicious! The bread itself is soft on the inside with a good crust. I highly recommend this for a simple loaf bread for dipping (appetizers, soups, etc).

Very good bread recipe. It was a nice accompaniment to a beef vegetable soup.
Makes a nice soft loaf perfect with a smear of butter.
