I will share the recipe of my husband's mother born in Algeria, which is a great cook . It is one of the recipes she taught me before .... About 30 years ago when I met her son who later became my husband.

- 1 kg fish fillets (meaty, without skin and without bones)
- 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
- green pepper (or ed, finely chopped spicy)
- sweet red pepper (strips)
- 2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 1 tsp. turmeric
- 1/2 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 bunch fresh coriander

Directions
- In a large saucepan heat the olive oil, add the onion and cook over medium heat about 4 minutes while stirring.

- Add about 2 cups of water and "open up" the sauce. Increase heat and bring the sauce to a gentle boil.
