Ingredients

- 1 lb. elbow macaroni (or your favorite pasta)
- 1 Tbsp. canola oil
- 5 slices bacon (diced)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour (all-purpose)
- 4 1/2 cups milk
- 6 cups sharp white cheddar cheese (grated)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups frozen peas (thawed)

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375˚F
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta 2 minutes less than the package instructs. Set aside
- In a large nonstick skillet, cook the bacon until it begins to crisp, about 4 to 5 minutes. Add garlic, cook for 1 more minute. Remove garlic and bacon and set aside
