- 1 loaf Irish soda bread (see recipe at least day old bread, hand torn or cut into cubes)
- 1/3 cup raisins
- 1/3 cup golden raisins
- 3 cups half & half (or whole milk - we typically use 2 cups half & half to 1 cup whole milk)
- 4 large eggs
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick, melted and cooled)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg (freshly grated is best, add more on top of the assembled bread pudding if desired)
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Bailey's Irish Cream (to taste, 1 Tbsp will only have a hint of Bailey's flavor)
