Not a Baker but this bread is so easy and successful. Kinda reminded me of a giant scone or biscuits the versatility of being able to make it sweet by adding raisins or cranberries or savory just add rosemary or sage. My Father has requests DEMANDED I make a few more loafs to give to the Uncles lol.
will be doing this AGAIN and
AGAIN- Decided I needed to try some home made butter also very easy and made really have to stop buying it.

I enjoyed this bread. I added only 1/2 teaspoon of salt, which was plenty, and I substituted some of the white flour for more whole wheat flour. I wish I had skipped the oil or put maybe 1/2 tablespoon in, because two tablespoons gives too much of an oily taste for me. I prefer a drier Irish Soda Bread. I will be trying again with these modifications!

It was really good the flavor was great, and making it was quick and easy! I used bead four instead of AP.
