- flour
- baking powder
- baking soda
- Irish butter (unsalted)
- granulated sugar
- dark brown sugar (packed)
- egg
- golden syrup (Lyle’s, corn syrup or honey can be substituted but the flavor will be different)
- steel cut oatmeal (Irish)
- toffee bits
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 7 Tbsp. unsalted butter (I use Kerrygold Irish butter, softened at room temperature for 10 minutes)
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar (or dark, packed)
- 1 large egg
- 3 Tbsp. corn syrup (Lyle’s golden syrup, or honey can be substituted but the flavor will be different)
- 1 3/4 cups steel cut oats (Irish)
- 1/2 cup toffee bits
