- 3/4 cup oil (any vegetable oil)
- 15 chillies (Thai, chopped, adjust per your taste)
- 15 curry leaves
- 1 Tbsp. mustard seeds
- 1 Tbsp. cumin seeds
- 1 tsp. turmeric powder
- 2 Tbsp. salt (adjust per taste)
- 3 Tbsp. urad dal (wash and soak in water for 15-20mins, drain water and keep aside, Readily available in Indian Grocery stores)
- 3 Tbsp. chana dal (wash and soak in water for 15-20mins, drain water and keep aside, Readily available in Indian Grocery stores)
