Overall a nice recipe. Took the advice of another reviewer and sautéd the onions, garlic and ginger first then dumped the rest. Soup came out flavorful and tasty. Only change for next time is to decrease the liquid a tad next time. Would like it a bit thicker and “stew” like in consistency.

Really excellent recipe! I'm glad I finally made it, as I'd been sort of sitting on it for a while. I would like to stipulate, however, that the directions, or lack thereof, should be mostly ignored. The "dump everything in the pot" method is not the way to go. You have to saute your aromatics first; in this case, the onions, garlic, and ginger. I'm glad that I know my way around an Instant Pot enough by now to do so. Mine turned out great but I think if I hadn't taken that extra step it wouldn't have been as good. Star deducted only because of the directions issue.
