- 1 Tbsp. sesame oil

- 1 Tbsp. minced garlic (or crushed)
- 1 Tbsp. minced ginger (or squeeze)
- 1/4 cup bourbon (you can apple juice if you don’t want to use bourbon)
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch (slurry, 2 tbsp of cornstarch + 2 tbsp of water)
- 1 tsp. gravy master (or Kitchen Bouquet, optional, for color)

The next time I'll add a little more liquid. The chicken and sauce cooked down more than expected and once I added the other ingredients, it was very thick and didn't need the corn starch. But it did taste good.
