it turned out well,used country ham to flavor it and be easy on the salt because of the country ham and it could use a bit more liquid in it

we liked it. didn't use the flavor package, it didn't need it. Great with corn bread.

Delicious! Added a little salt to taste, some bay leaves and thyme. The mixed beans were an excellent choice. Will make again, soon!
