- 1/2 lb. green beans (ends cut off, beans cut in half)
- 1/2 onion (diced)
- 1 tsp. garlic salt

- 1 can condensed soup (cream of mushroom, not low fat)
- 2 1/2 cups beef (broth, or chicken, use water or vegetable broth for vegetarian dish)
- 1 cup long-grain white rice (rice, NOT instant, uncooked)
- 3/4 cup cheese (shredded, optional)
- 1 cup chicken (precooked, diced, optional add in)
