- 16 oz. pasta (your favorite, I recommend using bowties, penne or rotini. If you use long pasta like spaghetti or fettuccini the cook times for the pasta may under cook the chicken.)
- 32 oz. chicken broth
- 4 oz. cream cheese
- 2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded)
- fresh parsley (to garnish- it's okay to skip this ingredient if you don't like parsley or don't have any on hand, optional)

The flavor profile is excellent, but you really can’t go wrong with cheese, ranch and bacon. I did, however, find that my chicken came out a bit over cooked and dry, it was too saucy for the amount of pasta in the recipe, and crisping the bacon only to leave it in the pot made it soggy. I should have removed it before cooking the rest. I’ll keep playing with the bones of the recipe to get a result I’m happier with, but overall, not bad.
