- 1 1/2 lb. boneless chicken breasts (or thighs, cut into bite size pieces, you can also use cooked diced chicken)

- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 lb. cavatappi pasta (uncooked, you can also use penne, cellentani or rotini pasta)
- 3 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 12 oz. fresh green beans (washed and trimmed and cut in half)
- 1 cup half and half
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese (I like sharp for more flavor)
