This is closer to a Peet's or Starbucks chai than what's served at an Indian restaurant. It was quick and easy to make and turned out decent, but next time I'll increase the cardamom and decrease the cloves.
UPDATE: the adjustments above and adjusting and adding more milk helped move the flavor closer to my preferred taste so it's a 4-star recipe instead of 3 :-).
