- 1 Tbsp. mustard seeds (גרגירי חרדל)
- 1 Tbsp. cumin
- 2 Tbsp. almonds (crushed)
- 2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
- 2 Tbsp. brown lentils
- curry leaves (Lots of)
- 2 bay leaves
- 3 cms ginger (piece of, finely chopped)
- 2 red onions (small, finely chopped)
- 2 carrots (chopped, or any vegetables of your choice!)
- 1/2 lemon
- oil

Directions
- Heat oil in a pan on medium/high heat, and add mustard seeds
- When the mustard seeds start crackling, add the cumin, almonds, sesame seeds, lentils, curry leaves and the bay leaves, and saute for a couple of minutes- make sure to stir in order to avoid ingredients burning to the bottom of the pan!
- Cook mixture for 1-2 minutes, and then add the grains and mix everything properly
