  • 8 1/2 pints Neapolitan ice cream
  • 16 ice cream cones (flat-bottom)
  • 4 pints mint chocolate chip ice cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

    Directions

    1. Using an ice-cream scoop, place scoops of strawberry ice cream into 4 cones. Place on a tray and freeze. Place scoops of vanilla ice cream into 4 cups and freeze. Repeat with chocolate and mint chocolate chip ice creams.
    2. Combine powdered sugar and 1-2 tsp warm water in a small bowl. Stir until a thick firm icing forms. Spoon a little icing on to the base of each cone to hold in place. Arrange ice cream cones, alternating the colors, on a large platter. Return to freezer until ready to serve. Tie a wide satin ribbon around the cones, securing with a bow. Serve.
